Toure hints at summer City exit

TOURE-HAT-TRICK LONDON, England, May 20- Yaya Toure’s agent has suggested that the midfielder could leave Manchester City as he feels he is not appreciated.

The shock revelations come after City held a party to celebrate their Premier League success on the same day as Toure’s 31st birthday, with the Ivory Coast international’s personal milestone apparently ignored at the event.

“There’s a big possibility Yaya will leave this summer,” Toure’s agent, Dimitry Seluk, is reported to have told The Sun.

“What happened at his birthday meant the club don’t care about him. It was proof.

“In a normal team, his team-mates and club would at least give him good wishes.

“He’s very upset and he started thinking of leaving the club. And he will leave if things carry on like this.

“It’s not a question of money or contract, believe me. He has everything he needs. For Yaya what is the most important thing is human relationships.

“When your best worker has his birthday from time to time it’s not bad to shake his hand. To make him feel valued and appreciated. They don’t give any attention to Yaya.”

Toure joined the Citizens from Barcelona in 2010 and has developed into one of the Manchester outfit’s most important players, playing a key role in City winning the league title in the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons.
