The former Rangers FC team manager tendered his resignation letter on Wednesday to club chairman James Musyoki and copied it to KPL secretariat due to what he wrote were personal issues.
“I met with the chairman and we had a long discussion about my resignation, I told him my reasons of quitting and he gave me the okay to depart so I’m free and ready for any offer that will come.
“I had a misunderstanding and poor relationship with the two officials I won’t mention so instead of working in a place that there is no team work, I decided to leave peacefully,” Waliaula disclosed to Capital Sport on Friday.
The immediate former team manager went on to say, “ I’m a very humble guy and everybody knows that but if there is no working relationship I cant do my job with passion, the officials couldn’t show me respect in the presence of the players and from the experience that I have I realized there was an in-house problem.
“I have never had any problem with coaches that I have worked with and I hope to get a team that every member respects each other and for Tusker I only wish them all the success.”
Waliaula who was appointed to the Brewers in 2012, replacing long-serving Neville Pudo missed Wednesday’s Tusker 1-1 draw against bottom side Top Fry Nakuru at Afraha Stadium where players and head coach Francis Kimanzi confronted centre referee George Mwai, citing poor officiating.
Midfielder Osborn Monday was handed a red card after the match for dissent and will miss the Western Stima clash at Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday.
