LONDON, August 1- Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has confirmed that Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is a target for the Serie A club.
The Belgium international has been linked with a departure from Old Trafford after a debut season to forget with the Red Devils.
New United manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly willing to part with Fellaini, who cost the English giants £27.5 million a year ago when he signed from Everton.
Partenopei are believed to be interested in bringing the 26-year-old to Stadio San Paolo, although reports in Italy suggest they are exploring the option of a season-long loan deal.
De Laurentiis has now admitted the former Toffees star is on Rafael Benitez’s wishlist, but added that there were other names on the Italian’s radar too.
He told Radio Kiss Kiss: “Fellaini is one of the names but he is not the only one on the table.”
Commenting on Fellaini’s iconic hairdo, De Laurentiis added: “It’s a lion’s head. That’s good. His hair could be in line with the Neapolitan style.”
