LONDON, August 25- Out-of-favour Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is reportedly set for a move to Italy, with Juventus thought to be keen on his services.
The Germany international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium during the current transfer window, and those claims were further fuelled after he was left out of the Gunners squad that drew 2-2 against Everton on Saturday evening.
Podolski instead travelled to his homeland where he watched former club Cologne’s goalless draw with Hamburg, and reports suggest he will not be returning to north London.
A loan move to the Serie A had initially been proposed by the media, although it is now believed Juve are preparing a £10 million bid for the 29-year-old.
Podolski added to suggestions he could be set for a new adventure, posting on Twitter: “The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you’ve come.”
