Ronaldo dismisses Real exit rumours

RONALDO-RODRIGUEZ MADRID, September 25-Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to dismiss reports linking him with an imminent return to Manchester United, stating he remains more than committed to Real Madrid.

The Portugal international departed Old Trafford for the Santiago Bernabeu in 2009 for a then-world record £80m, but has – on several occasions spoken of a desire to one day reunite with the Premier League giants.

However, as much of an affiliation as the Ballon d’Or holder has with the Red Devils, the 29-year-old has looked to end speculation of an immediate switch.

“They are all speculations about my future,” Ronaldo said.

“My future is Madrid. I’m happy this season is going well and my future, I will not speak about, it does not make sense.”

The Portugal international has enjoyed a barnstorming start to the new season, netting hat-tricks in both his last two outings, taking his tally to 12 for the campaign already.
