LONDON, October 14-Arsenal have lost another player to injury during the international break after midfielder Tomas Rosicky revealed that he had suffered a knock.
The 34-year-old sustained a muscle injury during the Czech Republic’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Turkey on Friday night and subsequently missed the clash with Kazakhstan on Monday.
Speaking to reporters following the 4-2 triumph over Kazakhstan, Rosicky said: “I couldn’t do any sharp movement, couldn’t sprint.
“If I tried to play in one tempo, I wouldn’t make any difference for the team.
“I’ll come back to London and we’ll see. The doctor said I have something swollen between the muscles.”
Rosicky’s injury presents Gunners boss Arsene Wenger with an unwelcome selection headache ahead of Saturday’s clash with Hull City at the Emirates.
This after Danny Welbeck, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny all suffered injuries whilst on international duty over the past week.
