>>> Nani unsure of United return

NANI-GALAXY LISBON, October 1-Portugal international wing Nani says he is unsure whether he will ever play for Manchester United again.

Nani joined United from Sporting Lisbon for €25 million in 2007, but he has under-performed in recent seasons and his form slumped even further during David Moyes’ short tenure as United manager.

Current manager Louis van Gaal gave the Nani a chance to play his way back into the first team during United’s pre-season campaign, but the Portuguese failed to impress.

He was promptly loaned to Sporting as part of Marcos Rojo’s transfer the other way.

“I don’t know (if I will go back). At the moment I just want to enjoy the football, I want to play, I want to be at my best and then let’s see what happens in the future,” said Nani.

“But at the moment I am a Manchester United player, so I’m just here to get back to my best.”

The winger has scored twice in five games since returning to his boyhood club, and played in Sporting’s 1-0 loss Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday.
