NAIROBI, Kenya, February 7 – A re-energized Kenya Sevens team collected 10 points at the the fourth round of HSBC Sevens World Series after bowing out in the Plate Semi-finals with a 21-5 defeat to Australia at Wellington 7s in New Zealand on Saturday.
Felix Ochieng’ charges were relegated to the Plate after going gown 5- 19 to fellow Africans and rivals South Africa with Michael Wanjala grounding the only try for Kenya.
Kenya who are now on 21 points will seeking to collect more points next weekend when they travel to USA for the fifth round at Las Vegas Sevens as their mission of retaining core status continues.
