NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 24 – The Total Motorshow is anticipating doubling the number of visitors in this year’s edition set to be held from September 11 to 13.
The show which is the biggest motor expo in East and Central Africa is expected to attract about 30, 000 visitors up from 15, 000.
Total Kenya CEO Ada Eze says already all exhibitors’ stands are fully booked. There are more than 130 stands and 62 exhibitors.
“This year’s event will be a special kind with variety of entertainment that includes artistes from the spotlight on Kenya Music programme from all over the country, there will also be kids corners, live band and a DJ making it a family affair,” she said.
The event brings together players in the formal motor industry and allied services that include auto accessories, Insurance, Financial Institutions, vehicle rental services, vehicle tracking among others.
On show will be the latest model of cars, pickups, trucks tractors motorcycles among others.
“You can shop for a car, a motorbike and even make deals with insurance companies and financial institutions,” Eze adds.
The show which started in 1994 is hosted after every two years in conjunction with the Kenya Motor Industry Association.
