>>> Chill, I’ll score for City, Bony asserts

BONY-CITY-MISS MANCHESTER, March 9-Striker Wilfried Bony insists he is unconcerned by his lack of goals for Manchester City since his £25 million January move from Swansea.

The striker is yet to score for City in any competition, but is confident normal service will resume once he has fully settled in to his new surroundings.

His confidence stems from a similar issue that arose at Swansea after he joined from Dutch club Vitesse Arnheim, when he didn’t score in his first seven games for the Swans.

“When I first came to England there was big pressure because I was coming from Holland to the Premier League,” he told the club’s official website.

“At Swansea, I didn’t score in the first few games so there was more pressure again, but it’s just something you have to live with by improving and doing things better.”

After netting his first strike at the Swans he went on to score more goals than any other striker in the Premier League in 2014.

“This is a great move for me but I need to work hard, take my chances when they come along and it will get easier as I get to know my teammates better and get a better understanding.

“I’m just settling in, getting to know everyone better and they are getting to know me and what my strengths are, too.”

Bony reveals that it was Ivorian teammate Yaya Toure who ultimately convinced him to make the switch to the Sky Blues.

“More than anyone, Yaya told me that City was one of the greatest clubs in the world and said that if I had the opportunity to come here that I should take it with both hands, so I did,” he added.
